South West Huddersfield Scouts

Our District takes in the south-west corner of Huddersfield, hence its name!! Our area  basically encompasses the Colne Valley with its mixture of industry and  countryside.

We have the Huddersfield Narrow Canal running through our District. This magnificent waterway boasts the longest (3 1/3 miles) and highest canal tunnel in the country, the Standedge Tunnel.
